Hobbies interests:  Don't have much time for hobbies. Speedway takes up all of my spare time.

Do any physical training:  Moto-X, Swimming and Gym.

How do I relax:  Don't relax much at all, always on the go. But if I get the chance I will go to the spa and sauna

Laughs at:  Pretty much anything, I have a good sense of humour

Dislikes: Don't really dislike much at all, quite easy going.

Early life
School life: You really don't want to know. I am dyslexic, School was never easy.

First job:  Flower nursery.

Lasting childhood memory: When I got my head stuck in the railings at home.

Family: Mum - Chris, Dad - Paul, Sister - Jenny, Brother - Jeff, Daughter - Madison and Girlfriend Jenny (different to sister)

Live:  Maldon, Essex

Newspaper magazine: Because I'm dyslexic I don't read newspapers or magazines, only the Speedway Star.

Favourite food:  Meat, meat and more meat!

Worst food:  Veg.

Do you cook:  Yes, I like cooking.

Top TV:  Don't watch much TV. If I do it would be Prison Break or Heroes

Work as well as speedway:  Try too, but jobs don't go well with Speedway.
 
Speedway life
Present club:  Ipswich

Previous clubs: Newport, Reading, Berwick (conference league) Peterborough and Oxford.

Where did you start speedway:  Sittingbourne.

At what age:  14

Previous racing experience:  No hadn't had any racing experience before.

Any race night superstitions:  No but I like to chill out, talking to people in the crowd.

Machinery:  Two Jawa frames, Gm engine Blix Carb.

Mechanic: Dad.

Much time in workshop:  Spend nearly all my spare time in workshop.

Thoughts on costs:  Everything is so expensive especially when travelling a lot for ten pence a mile. We're so far behind the times.

How can they be cut:  Take up golf.

Transport: ATM have Mercedes Sprinter, but now I haven't got so many miles to do I might get something smaller.

Sponsors:  Ideal Video, Doreen Bowles, MA Ewers Transport, Ambassador Fork lifts, Foil Tech.

Best club ridden for:  Berwick had the best team spirit, but I have enjoyed all clubs I have ridden for.

Favourite track:  Eastbourne.

Worst track:  Don't really mind any of the tracks.

Favourite kind of track: Grippy.

Most admired riders:  Tony Rickardson and Sam Ermolenko

Early main influence:  No one in Speedway, but Dad has always been there.

Best meeting:  Heat 15 at Glasgow last season.

Worst meeting:  There are lots of meetings that just don't go right, but you can't dwell on them.

Worst injury:  Broke both Wrists at Reading.

Most embarrassing moment:  When I came off after the race at Peterborough in the Conference league.

Best stadium raced in:  Austria.

What are your hopes: As said before to be at the Grand Prixs in five years.

Advice to newcomers:  Don't do it.

Thoughts on speedway image:  Needs to be advertised more

What to improve speedway: All tracks should have safety fences.

Are refs consistent:  Are you having a laugh?

How has speedway changed in 5-10 years: Equipments better and the rules change every year.
